Planning a trip to Egypt
You may already have a bucket list of destinations you have always dreamed of visiting. Or perhaps you simply know how you feel — I want some beach, I want to see Cairo, I want to sail the Nile… and I want it all to fit into my holiday.
And this is where the real art of travel design begins.
It has become quite usual for us to receive a message from a guest, often referred by another happy guest we’ve looked after before:
“We have already booked our international flights. We arrive on this date and fly back on that date. What can you do for us in your country?”
Sometimes, they have a few ideas: perhaps a beach, Cairo, a Nile cruise, and a couple of places on their bucket list.
But putting all of this together is not simply a matter of booking hotels and excursions.
Everything has to be in sync.
Domestic flights have to fit around the international flights. Cruise sailing dates are fixed and have to work with everything else. Excursions need to make sense. And, perhaps most importantly, the journey needs to breathe.
Because a good travel designer knows that after several days of temples, history and daily excursions along the Nile, you probably need some time to simply relax by the sea.
And definitely not the other way around.
There may be another place you have always dreamed of seeing. Or perhaps there is somewhere you don’t yet know about — but, knowing Egypt and knowing how to design a journey, we may tell you, “You really shouldn’t miss it.”
That is what tailor-made means to us.
Not simply fitting a trip into a set of dates.
It is about knowing how to connect the pieces, choosing the right rhythm, leaving room to breathe and turning everything you have imagined — and perhaps a few things you haven’t — into one smooth, memorable journey.
